     MONDAYS


MONDAY MORNING BIBLE STUDY

Join this class at any time during the school year. Monday Morning Bible Study meets through May and uses the Serendipity Bible, which includes questions for each book of the Bible. The Bible can be purchased in class. We also enjoy fellowship through mission projects, social outings, and monthly lunches. We welcome new members at any time. For more information contact the church office.  The class will start up again in room E225 at 9:30 a.m. in September of 2019. No registration necessary.

WOMEN OF JOY

This women's group meets the 2nd and 4th Tuesday evenings from 7-9 p.m. during the school year in room S203 and enjoys several types of Biblical studies. During the summer they meet once a month for mission projects and eating out. This summer they collected items for Christ Clinic, The Ballard House, and CAPS. Please join them at any time!


TUESDAY MORNING BIBLE STUDY - ISAIAH, CHAPTERS 1-39

This class will begin on Sept. 11 at 9:30 a.m. in room E225. In this OneBook Daily-Weekly, Dr. John Oswalt leads us in an exploration of the first thirty-nine chapters of Isaiah's rich prophetic oracles. Here we discover the truth about God's holiness and the depth of our sin, but also the promising renewal that God is bringing to the entire creation. 12 wks.

33 THE SERIES: MEN'S BIBLE APPLICATION STUDY

Authentic Manhood meets on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 p.m. in room S209.   You can join at any time. This Bible Application considers what it means to “Be an Authentic Man” with focus on our Design, our Story, our Traps, our Work, our Marriage and our Parenting.  Join this men’s group and learn how this study has already transformed the lives of over a million men. This study, an adaptation of the original, bestselling Disciple Bible Study, provides a viable option for busy people seeking comprehensive engagement over time with the entire biblical text. The class begins on August 29 at 6:30 p.m. in room S101.

INVITATION: INTRODUCTION TO BIBLE STUDY

Invitation is designed to provide a helpful foundation for how to read, study, and understand scripture. The class begins on August 29 at 6:30 p.m. in room S201. 10 wks.

LIVING AS A DISCIPLE: A SPIRITUAL GIFTS SHORT COURSE

This four-week course will help you discover what your spiritual gifts are and discern where God is (and is not) calling you to use these gifts. The class begins on August 29 at 6:30 p.m. in room S209.

METHODISM 101

Using the book, The Top 10 United Methodist Beliefs, this class will help you discover what it means to be a United Methodist. The class begins on August 29 at 6:30 p.m. in Asubry East. 10 wks.

NO LABELS, JUST FAITH

Meet at No Label Brewery at 5351 1st St., Katy, TX 77493 on Wednesday evenings at 7 p.m. to discuss faith in everyday life.

FELLOWSHIP FOR MOMS

Fellowship for Moms is for mothers of children of all ages and stages. We will meet on Wednesday evenings from 6:30-7:30 p.m. throughout the school calendar year. Our goal is to offer fellowship and support for the daily trials and joys of motherhood.

 

FINANCIAL PEACE

This class begins August 29 at 6:30 p.m. and will meet in Asbury Hall West. More information will be coming soon!


IMPACT

Impact is our Wednesday night program for children 3 years old through fifth grade during the school year. We have Bible studies, Bible lessons, crafts, music, peer interaction, and homework time. We hope that through what they learn at Impact, children can go out and make an Impact for Christ. Preschool will meet in room E120 and elementary will meet in room E224 beginning at 6:30 p.m. Impact will start up again in August. No registration necessary.

 

JOB SEARCH ASSISTANCE

Meets in S202 on Wednesday nights from August 29 through November 14 at 6:30 p.m.  This group is for anyone looking for employment or job change.  We will discuss search tactics, internet applications, networking, resumes, and interviewing for general and specific job searches. ROOTED

Rooted is our Junior High Fellowship and Small Group night on Wednesdays during the school year in the Wesley Student Center from 6-8 p.m. Our senior high leaders help plan, teach, and mentor the group, which includes a $3 dinner, praise band, worship, games, sports, and small group study.

PARENTS NIGHT OUT

Every couple deserves a night out to connect and relax! Enjoy a night out together once a month while your kids have a fun night at church with friends and activities! Parents’ Night Out will be offered for children ages birth through fifth grade. Parents can go out on a date, hang out with friends, or enjoy a night at home together. Dinner and activities will be provided. $20 for the first child and $30 for two or more children. Space is limited!
