2013 - 25 Years of Saving Lives at St. Peter's Blood Drives!
Marsha Asplin (pictured above) has been recognized by the Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center for reaching 1,000 donations!
There are six blood drives each year conducted by the Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center. They are held on Sunday mornings, 8:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Sign up in the lobby on the two Sundays preceding each drive. For more information, call the church office at 281.492.8031.

Why should YOU donate blood? Because you can save up to three lives with your blood donation! Only your voluntarily donated blood can be used for patients in need of blood! Over 1,000 units of blood are needed daily in the 26-county Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center area. For 2013, the units needed for the year are 331,000!

St. Peter's has been having blood drives since at least 1989 but there are records of donation numbers only since June of 1993. Since that time the blood donors of St. Peter's have donated
15, 865 units and saved up to 47,595 lives!! WOW! Thanks to all donors!
