Join us at 5:45 p.m. in Asbury Hall on Wednesdays starting on August 29 for a potluck dinner as we continue to fellowship with our friends and neighbors.
You are encouraged to attend one of our small groups starting at 6:30. However, please join us even if you do not attend a class or can’t bring food. We love homemade dishes, but purchasing already-prepared foods also is a great addition to our community meal.
Invite your friends and neighbors, especially those who you know could use a good meal and good conversation, as many people are still in the recovery phase after the hurricane.
Jesus perfectly paints a picture in scripture of what it looks like to be a neighbor in Matthew 22:37-38: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself.”
