Thank you for your helping those in need with a wonderful Thanksgiving meal!

Katy Community Thanksgiving Feast Helping KCM

Like many other events in our area since the arrival of COVID-19, the annual Katy Community Thanksgiving Feast as we have known it will not be possible this year.  The safety of our guests and volunteers is paramount.  Over the past nine years, multiple Katy churches of varying denominations have endeavored to unite the people of Katy in a spirit of Thanksgiving to God, while serving our neighbors in need with prayer, home cooked food, home goods, and connections to local non-profit services.  This year the feast steering committee unanimously decided that our participating Katy Feast churches will partner with Katy Christian Ministries to provide side dishes that are needed for families to prepare their own Thanksgiving Feast.  KCM will then distribute a box of ‘feast fixings’ along with a donated turkey to each family they see during the month of November.

Donate Boxes of Stuffing

It has been requested that the church community of St. Peter’s consider donating boxes of stuffing to contribute to the ‘feast fixings’ boxes.  The goal is to donate 1000 boxes.  If you would like to contribute, please drop off the boxes in the marked bins located around the church campus.  A ‘drive-by’ drop off will be available on October 25 from 12- 2 p.m. for those who do not wish to enter the building.  Donations will be delivered to KCM on October 30.

Monetary Donations

Monetary donations help with purchase of supplies. Please make your check out to St. Peter’s, with notation of Katy Thanksgiving Feast in the memo section. Please mail all checks to our office or feel free to drop it off in our office.
