Students: Midweek | Kingsland

MIDWEEK INFO

When: Wednesdays at 6:30-7:30 pm
Where: Wesley Student Center on the Kingsland Campus (20775 Kingsland Blvd)

Midweek is an opportunity for students to meet in the middle of the week and take a break from schoolwork by serving and helping others, playing games and being in fellowship with other students. Each week we will help serve a ministry, enjoy a different game/activity, as well as spending time getting to know one another.

We are encouraging students to submit questions they are curious to know about within our faith. Questions about the church, the Bible, life, etc. are all welcome! You can submit a question HERE.

The official time for Student Midweek is 6:30-7:30pm. It is during this time students will participate in games, Bible Study, and/or a service project. All of Student Midweek will be in our Wesley Student Center.

An asterisk* indicates that Students Midweek will NOT meet on that date.

We plan to keep serving fairly simple and what we feel our students are more than capable of doing. We will still meet in our Wesley Student Center on the Kingsland Campus where we will find and help different ministries from the church or local charities/organizations in the Katy area. Examples of how we have helped included: packing snack bags for children in nearby elementary schools, sorting clothes for Clothed by Faith, and making cards for nearby assisted-living facilities.

This event is for 6-12th grade students! There may be weeks where all grade levels play a game together and other weeks we will split up junior high and high school.

Dinner will be open to students and families from 5:30-6:15pm in Lott Hall at the cost of a love offering. Once dinner is over, students will begin Midweek programming in the Wesley Student Center!

Yes! In fact, this is what this event is designed for. We want Midweek to be an easy-going, comfortable event that can be welcoming to students who may have never attended a St. Peter’s event before. Once we get to know students better, we will begin encouraging them to participate in a Life Group on Sundays so they can become better known within the church and be a part of a smaller group of peers.
